Lakshadi Coconut Oil
Lakshadi Coconut Oil belongs to the classical tradition of medicated oils cooked on a coconut base rather than sesame. Coconut oil is known in classical Ayurveda for its cooling quality, which is why the oils built on it are associated with the warmer months and with the scalp and the hair.

If the oil has set firm, stand the closed bottle in warm water for a minute until it runs clear. Pour a small quantity into the palm and work it into the scalp or the skin with slow, even strokes. Leave it in place for twenty to thirty minutes, then wash or bathe in warm water. Keep away from the eyes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, speak to your doctor or a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
